Rex Ryan Foot Fetish Video a 'Own Matter'

New York Jets coach Rex Ryan, at a news conference Wednesday, addressed the foot-fetish report posted by Deadspin.com, which showed videos of a woman who closely resembles Rex's wife, Michelle.

"To be truthful, and I get it, I know you need to ask and all that stuff, but it's a personal matter and I'm really not going to discuss it, reasonable?" he told reporters.
He was asked about the videos throughout the conference, but sustained to preserve that it was "a individual matter," according to ESPN. NFL league orator Greg Aiello said the league also considers the video report a personal matter.
One video shows a woman presenting her feet and toes from an SUV window to an off-screen cameraman who touches them. Other videos show the woman session on a couch and rubbing her feet.
This is the most recent headline-grabbing story to hit the NFL because of a Dead spin feature. Last October Minnesota Vikings' quarterback Brett Favre was involved in a "sexing" scandal when the website posted voicemails and pictures Favre allegedly sent in 2008 to former Jets game-day host and Playboy model Jennifer Sterger. Favre played for the Jets that year, and the NFL's investigation into the incident is ongoing.

Jon Gruden: 2001 Miami Hurricanes Best College Football Team for ever

As an unabashed Canes fan, you know I’m not going to miss an opportunity to give some love to my Hurricanes, especially when it was prompted by somebody else. After Andre Johnson caught a touchdown prior to halftime of the Ravens-Texans Monday night game, analyst and former coach Jon Gruden began praising Miami.
Introducing what seemed to be a prepared piece by ESPN, Chucky said that the 2001 Miami team was the best college football team ever. He pointed out how 38 of the 89 players on the team were drafted, including 17 in the first round. They showed a team photo and spot-shadowed Andre Johnson and Ed Reed (both of whom were playing in the Monday night game) and mentioned Willis McGahee, who was also playing in the game. Other running backs on that Miami team were Frank Gore, Clinton Portis, and Najeh Davenport. In addition to Andre Johnson, Santana Moss, Jeremy Shockey, and Kellen Winslow II caught passes from Ken Dorsey. Defensive stars included Jonathan Vilma, D.J. Williams, Vince Wilfork, and Antrel Rolle and Sean Taylor as backups.

'The Amazing Race': 'Sancho Panza's master to make history

Doctors Nat and Kat are your "Amazing Race" Season 17 winners. They bested second place team Brook and Claire and third place team Thomas and Jill. Nat and Kat are the first all-female team to win "TAR" and nearly 50% of Zap2it voters picked them.

There they had to ride a bungee swing in order to get the next clue. It was awesome, like bungee jumping but not quite as scary. During the bungee swing, Nat said, "I didn't even pee my pants." We're sad that wasn't the episode title.

Following the bungee swing the teams had a road black where they had to help decorate a Tournament of Roses Parade float. Thomas, the last man standing, struggled a bit with the road block. Brook and Nat were both a lot more comfortable with the challenge, but all three teams still finished fairly quickly.

The next clue forced them to figure out clues, including who Sancho Panza's master was. Don Quixote is the answer and it was directing them to Quixote Studios where they had to play a game show-like challenge. The challenge was to pick out the 11 greeters from each pit stop (from a grid of 48) and then put them in order.

SMU Death Penalty To Be Aired In ESPN 30

The SMU Death Penalty will be aired today on ESPN 30. Try to catch the following details below from NCAA Football Fanhouse for more:
After being discovered, SMU proposed a series of penalties and vowed to obey the rules, but still saw the NCAA committee vote to cancel the school's entire 1987 season. The "death penalty" actually allows the NCAA to cancel a program for two years; the only thing that spared SMU from that fate was its cooperation with the investigation.
The full penalties included the 1987 cancellation, the cancellation of all 1988 home games, the extension of existing probation to 1990, the extension of existing bowl game and live television bans to 1989, the loss of 55 new scholarships over four years, the concrete ban of nine boosters, a reduction in the number of assistant coaches the school was allowed to hire, and a ban on off-campus recruiting until 1988.

'Facebook Cartoon Profile Pic' For Child Abuse

A campaign stared on Facebook asking people to make Facebook cartoon profile pic, to fight against child abuse. This campaign which started as a game from Greece, on mid of November, took up a more serious turn on December 6th and was famous all across the globe. Mark Zuckerberg, also confirmed the introduction of the campaign make 'Facebook cartoon profile pic'. The campaign has got nearly 90,000 fans in just one day.

The big question is who started this campaign? No non-profit organisation has taken up the responsibility and thus, the good news is that no money is funneled into legitimate organisation. Some websites have claimed British charity NSPCC to be the one to introduce it but they however deny it.

NSPCC has posted on Twitter, ‘Although the NSPCC did not originate the childhood cartoon Facebook campaign, we welcome the attention it has brought to the work we do.

Another big question is how does make 'Facebook cartoon profile pic' help to fight against child abuse? Blogger Shayne House said: ‘Facebook cartoon profile pic does not really support the NSPCC unless it inspires or encourages you or someone else to volunteer or donate, which hopefully it will. Did it inspire you? It inspired me to write about it and make a donation.’

Insiders have revealed that this campaign seems to have a lot of influence from across the world and their sole aim of 'Facebook cartoon profile pic' was to urge every user of Facebook to remove their profile pic and replace it with a cartoon. How it will help the cause to fight against child abuse still needs to be seen.

Apple Cup 2010: Huskies Lead Cougars After First Quarter, 7-0

The Washington Huskies put the Washington State in a meat-grinder, spitting the Cougs out after a 16-play, 98-yard touchdown drive that spanned 8:31. The Huskies did it on the ground, using 54 yards from Chris Polk to sustain the drive. Polk, with those 54 yards, is over 2,000 yards for his career.

The Cougars had Jake Locker bottled-up on fourth and one, but Jake Locker escaped the grasp of Travis Long, rumbling for the first down. The Huskies capitalized from there, when Chris Polk carried a defender into the end zone.

It’s been a tale of mistakes for Washington State today, with three first quarter chop blocks backing the Cougar offense up. Despite moving the ball well on the first possession, the Cougs were forced to punt with the ball at the Washington 44. Reid Forrest pinned the Huskies back at the two, and the rest is history.

Leslie Nielsen: a career in clips

Leslie Nielsen in Naked Gun 33 1/3

Leslie Nielsen, who spent 30 years forging a career as a serious actor, and then another 30 playing the same parts for laughs, has died aged 84. We look back over his life in clips

Few actors have the ability to raise a smile just by the thought of them. Leslie Nielsen, deadpan extraordinaire, who used his training as a regular leading man in po-faced dramas to fruitfully spoof them for 30 years, was one of them. News of his death today will be greeted with both remembered happiness and a huge amount of sadness.

Nielsen was born in Saskatchewan, Canada, in 1926, 100 miles south of the Arctic Circle, the son of a Mounties and a Welsh immigrant from Fulham. His older brother, Erik, was deputy prime minister of Canada during the 1980s, while their uncle, Jean Hersholt, was a prominent silent-film actor. Here, on David Letterman, promoting the second Naked Gun film, Nielsen credits those long cold days of his childhood – "60 below zero, four months of year" – as the fuel of a fantasy life that triggered his acting career.

After graduation Nielsen enlisted in the Canadian air force and was trained as an aerial gunner during the latter part of the Second World War, though he never served overseas. He then won a scholarship to acting school, and moved to New York. He made his first TV appearance, in 1948, on an episode of Studio One, alongside Charlton Heston, and his first film, Forbidden Planet, six years later. It's a movie now almost impossible to take seriously, not just for its ropy B-movie production values and wobbly plot, but because of the presence of a (looser-limbed, darker-haired) Nielsen. His (practically to-camera) laugh when hearing that evil Walter Pidgeon's "alluring daughter" hasn't only not met a young man before, but not heard of a bathing suit betrays the audience-aware sense of humour that was later to make him world famous.

The film was a great success and Nielsen won a string of leading man roles. You can glimpse him having "too much excitement" at the end of this clip from The Opposite Sex.

And here he is doing his best sweaty hunk in Tammy and the Bachelor. Again, it's difficult not to watch the clip through the filter of 2010, in particular his double take on Tammy's assertion that he's pleasured her no end.

He tried out for higher-brow blockbuster fare, including, unsuccessfully, Ben Hur. Here's his hearty screen test.

Nielsen ploughed his furrow on TV through much of the 70s, starring in a show called Swamp Fox and another, The New Breed, which boasts the kind of title sequence that leaves you desperate for more. If anyone can find clips from this, please do post them.

Likewise, this one, for The Bold Ones, a later iteration of which (The Protectors), Nielsen had a guest spot on.

Nielsen's movies in this period were very much products of their time. Here he is making a decent fist of assailing a kung fu master in a slightly Garth Marenghi-style 1977 thriller, Project: Kill. The Zucker brothers were no doubt looking and learning: the sound effects of trumpets to punctuate each punch are very Naked Gun.

One of his last straight roles was as a corrupt mayor whose cost-cutting and glad-handing come home to roost when construction troubles strike in disaster movie City on Fire. Here he is with disgruntled nurse Shelley Winters (and unconvincing limp).

This later scene shows how Nielsen has learned to see the error of his ways and, even, redeem himself by becoming a bit of a hero.

It was a true turning-point role: not only in signalling the kind of fare he was shortly to become famous spoofing, but because it was one of his rare forays into the world of being a baddie. Nielsen was always the good guy, well-meaning, often lethally so, but dimly endearing always.

When released in 1980 Airplane! was a copper-bottomed hit – the general audience was evidently eager for this kind of treatment of the disaster movie after years spent enduring the genre at the cinema. Nielsen doesn't feature too much in the trailer, allthough his "Don't call me Shirley" line does get a debut at 2:35.

(Real Shirley aficionados can see a longer version of that scene below.)

I won't cover Airplane! in too much detail on account of our coverage of its 30th anniversary earlier this year. The success led to a sequel (which Nielsen didn't appear in) but, more significantly to the Zucker brothers and Nielsen teaming up again to spoof those police shows that had also been a staple of his career.

Nielsen won an Emmy nomination for his role as Lieutenant Frank Drebin, the most inept cop on the block, but the show itself – Police Squad – was axed after six episodes. The files were dusted off again in 1987, however, for the first film in the Naked Gun trilogy. It's easy these days to reflect on the films as pure slapstick, but they set out their political stall as take-no-prisoners satires right from the opening scene:

(Note the cameos for Idi Amin, Colonel Gaddafi, Mikhail Gorbachev.) They didn't always aim lowbrow, either – note the Eisenstein references in Naked Gun 33 1/3 …

The series was full of wonderful moments – please do post your favourites below – but here's just a couple: the Ghost-homage love scene:

And the driving instructor car chase scene:

With indefatigable commitment to the genre, Nielsen kept on spoofing after the series ended (thought last year there were hints the series would be revived). These weren't always masterpieces; indeed what they best highlighted was the skill and work that must have gone into what went before. Repossessed, featuring a remarkably amusing turn from Linda Blair, had its moments, however.

Knicks blow 21-point lead, fall 112-103 to Timberwolves as Kevin Love records 31 points, 31 rebounds

Minnesota Timberwolves forward Kevin Love rips down 31 rebounds, the most for a player against the Knicks since Boston's Robert Parish grabbed 32 in 1979.
Minnesota Timberwolves forward Kevin feel affection for rips down 31 rebounds, the most for a player next to the Knicks since Boston's Robert Parish grabbed 32 in 1979.

MINNEAPOLIS - an important person forgot to tell the Knicks to put a body on Kevin Love. Come to believe to it, an important person forgot to tell Amar'e Stoudemire that this is a game that he should dominate and that his teammates don't have to shoot mindless 3-pointers on every possession.

If you are look for the most improbable and debatably the worst loss of the Mike D'Antoni era, this is it.

The Knicks blew a 21-point third quarter lead and were totally manhandled by the combination of Love and Michael Beasley as the lowly Minnesota Timberwolves rallied for a 112-103 victory.

The loss was the Knicks' fourth as the crow flies and D'Antoni's team could be headed for disaster mode. Love apparently loves to hit the goblet as the burly forward finished with 31 points and 31 rebounds. Yes, that's 31 rebounds or 11 fewer than the whole Knicks team. He's the first player to go for 30-30 since Moses Malone did it for the Sixers in 1982.

Beasley, whom the Miami Heat gave to the Wolves for two second surrounding picks in order to clear cap space, sliced up the Knicks by scoring 35 points, making 16 of 29 shots. You think Pat Riley would quite have Beasley right now or Chris Bosh.

Over the last 20 minutes, Minnesota outscored the Knicks 55-25, which again underscores how poorly the Knicks played at both ends. They shot 11 for 29 on three's, including 4-for-14 in the second half.

Meanwhile, Stoudemire, the Knicks' $100 million man, was limited to just 28 minutes because of foul trouble and finished with just 14 points and nine rebounds. He missed 9 of 15 shots. Danilo Gallinari scored just seven of his 25 in the second half and Raymond Felton had just five of his 22 after intermission. Rookie Wesley Johnson scored 15 for the Wolves on 6-for-9 shooting.

The Knicks fell to 3-6 heading into Sunday's home game with Houston.

Stoudemire played just one minute in the third quarter after picking up his fourth foul. Without him, the Knicks extended their 65-51 halftime lead to 78-57, but their tedious shooting allowed Minnesota to close to 87-80.

The Knicks began launching 3-pointer after 3-pointer early in the shot clock and Love seem to grab every wayward shot. Love ended up with 15 rebounds in the quarter to lead the respond

With Stoudemire on the court to begin the fourth quarter, the Wolves opened the period with five straight points and closed to within 87-85 on Love's dunk. D'Antoni right away wanted a timeout to run a play for Stoudemire but Landry Fields' turnover led to a jumper from Love and moments later Corey Brewer hit a three in front of the Knicks' bench to put Minnesota ahead 90-87.

It was the Wolves' first lead since late in the first quarter and they had a chance to extend it when Love, after blocking Stoudemire's runner, misfire on an open three. Stoudemire then answered with jumper, the Knicks' first field goal in seven minutes.

Wilson Chandler's layup then gave the Knicks the lead with eight minutes to play before Beasley and Love joint to score the game's next seven points. The momentum was clearly with Minnesota and the crowd was finally alive.

Stoudemire's three-point engage in recreation got the Knicks to within 97-94 but Love used his wide frame to create space under the basket and scored on two baskets from close range before Beasley drove past Chandler for a two-handed dunk.

The Knicks were suddenly trailing by nine until Chandler calmly sank a 3-pointer. But D'Antoni elected not to double team Beasley, and Minnesota went ahead 106-97 when Beasley hit a three with 2:36 to play.

Dave Niehaus' death touches close to home for everything

Pardon me, other than I have to mark these verbal communication while wipe away my wife's tears. She just came home. She just found out that the voice of her youth, Mariners Hall of Fame newscaster Dave Niehaus, died of a heart attack. She just hugged me and saturated the part of my shirt that covers my heart.

"Dave Niehaus is like Disneyland," she just said. "It's secure, and it's content because it's always the same. Very few belongings are steady in life."

Niehaus was a steady. He has been the Mariners' voice for their total, from Diego Segui's first pitch in the franchise's inaugural game in 1977 to Ichiro's fly out to end the unhappy 2010 season. He has be there — for you — longer than "we've lived so far," my wife just said.

Before I moved here four years ago, I explained to a friend the reason I was excited about this new job. When I listed the Mariners, he joke that it should be hard to garner any enthusiasm about following a club whose most beloved employee is an announcer.

"Dave Niehaus is good," he said. "But he can't be the gemstone of your team. That tells you the Mariners have very little history."

We argued about it for a while. Since I've been here, I've heard variations of that joke many more times. When Niehaus became the first Mariner privileged by the Hall of Fame two years ago, the snide remarks resurfaced. He's the best thing the Mariners have? Hahaha! What a awful franchise.

But those fools never fully understood that they were diminishing an icon for cheap humor.

If the Mariners were a storied ballclub with multiple championship, Dave Niehaus would still be the jewel of the permit. In fact, if you put more team success with his voice and his storytelling and his excited style, Niehaus' legend would've full-grown larger than it already is.

in its place, he achieve something greater. He made the Mariners real the hard way. He made you care about them, even though it took the Mariners 15 seasons to post a charming record, even though they've been to the playoffs four times in 34 seasons. He was that special, that personable, that pleasant.

"He is Mariners baseball," a grieving Ken Griffey Jr. affirmed during a 710 ESPN Seattle radio meeting Wednesday night. "Everybody talks about all the players. We can't hold a candle to that man."

Heart Attack Grill restaurant offers free Bypass Burgers to diners who weigh over 350 pounds

At The Heart Attack Grill in Arizona, the additional you weigh, the additional you get.

The kitschy medically-themed eating place is now offering free meal to anyone weigh over 350 pounds.

To hawk the new special, the "house of the Double Bypass Burger" has enlisted plus-size spokesman Blair River, who tips the weighing machine at 570 pounds.

"Other diets don't deliver results," River says in a new YouTube ad for the restaurant. "But I've made incredible progress on the 'Heart Attack Grill' diet. A couple months ago, I was wearing these," he adds, holding up a small-waisted pair of pants.

The eatery, which serves burgers ranging from the "Single Bypass" to the "Quadruple Bypass," boasts waitresses dressed in sexy nurse uniforms who refer to the customers as "patients."

Want a Diet Coke? You're in the wrong place. There are no diet sodas, just "flat line fries" not poisonous unapologetically in lard.

Ironically, the restaurant is owned by Jon Basso, a previous nutritionist who used to run Jenny Craig weight-loss centers in Oklahoma, according to the Arizona Republic.

Basso is also featured in the YouTube ad, in which he wears a lab coat and identifies himself as "Dr. Jon, Founder of the 'Heart Attack Grill Diet.'"

"I for myself guarantee a stable upward progression of body weight while you're enjoying great tasting foods," he says with a smile. "Along with a chilly beer and cigarette, it's a diet you can stick to for life."

But eater be careful: The ad wincingly includes a long list of possible side effects, such as "sudden weight gain, repeated increase of clothes size, back pain, male breast growth, loss of sexual connections, lung cancer, tooth decay, liver sclerosis stroke and an inability to see your penis."

Not to talk about that "in some cases mild death may occur."

Let's hope their food lives up their motto - a "taste worth dying for!"

Bonnie Foldover Tote in Gold Metallic: This is my preferred DvF bag increasingly! It has a bit of YSL in its DNA, the shape and those bars at the top remind me of the Marjorelle which I have and still love and use. But this is flatter and does not have a rigid frame which makes it so much easier to use. And lighter, too. It's the subtle details like that diminutive tab in the middle that makes this so simple yet chic. The ringing is what will make you buy it emotionally but luckily the shape and style are characteristic and will serve you well for many seasons. At Diane von Furstenberg for $700.

Apple iPhone 4 spread to other countries

Apple said that its latest generation iPhone will be available from Friday for more than a dozen other countries. The company shifting cultivation has sold over three million smartphones since its launch a month ago in France, Great Britain, Germany, Japan and the United States. iPhone sales will increase four to 30 July in Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, New Zealand, Singapore, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland. The iPhone 4 sells for 199 dollars in the United States for the 16 gigabyte model and 299 dollars for the 32GB model. Apple last week began doling out iPhone 4 bumpers to address concerns that touching certain parts of the handset chokes telecom signal strength. In true Apple style, free bumpers were made available through an application that could be downloaded to iPhones from the Cupertino, California-company’s online iTunes shop. The gadget-maker is hoping a 29-dollar rubber-and-plastic case will put an end to the debate over the antenna on what Apple chief executive Steve Jobs calls “perhaps the best product we’ve ever made. ” Apple said at its website that the bumper, which fits around the sides of the phone, will be free to all buyers of the iPhone 4 through the end of September.

Partido ng Manggagawa (PM) made the appeal in connection with the issue of the 25 pilots who resigned without notice from Philippine Airlines (PAL) and may now face administrative and criminal charges.
PM chairman Renato Magtubo said requiring skilled workers to wait for six months before they can accept overseas jobs with better salaries and benefits favors capital but is unfair to labor.
PM vice chairman and president of the Philippine Airlines Employees’ Association (Palea) Gerry Rivera said the pilots left because they wanted jobs with security of tenure. PAL is working to make its staff contractual instead of regular employees.
Magtubo said government and PAL should find out the real reason for the labor problems the airline is experiencing.
Aside from the issue with the pilots, PAL is faced with a possible strike from flight attendants after they failed to reach an agreement in their collective bargaining negotiations. Meanwhile, ground crew and management are also at odds over PAL’s plans to contract out jobs, which can result in the loss of jobs for 3,000 workers.
For more information, see the Philippine Daily Inquirer Aquino asked: Lift migration ban on skilled workers.

To be honest, if it were my son who did the knocking up, his ass would be getting a job ASAP. My daughter, her boyfriend/baby daddy better get a job too. I'd support them emotionally and do a few things for them monetarily, ...
See Farrah's mom for examples on how to do this correctly, because that lady has crazy down pat! ) teen mom. Is it just me or did Farrah's mom remind you of the crazy mom from the movie “Carrie?” Just sayin….even the way she talks creeps me out. Anyway, despite the fact that most of the time Farrah is just a whining brat that is in desperate need of a frying pan to the face, I do feel bad for her. Crazy mom, dead boyfriend, a baby without a daddy…all she needs is a broken ...

so im watching if you really knew me

so im watching if you really knew me....

and i think MTV is well on its way to being decent again.

hear me out.

i don't know if anyone else has watched this, but shit's a tearjerker. this is coming from me---me, the insensitive bitch who boo's during most, if not all, movie/TV death scenes. i am completly desensitized. and you know what? i teared the.fuck. up.

the show is basically about this shit called Challenge Day, right? and its kind of like those shittastic drug assemblies that're shoved down your throat, or those confidence speakers that come in and tell you to love yourself. these guys come in and the main difference is that it actually requires you to participate. its not just a bunch of dudes talking for two hours and getting you out of class. its a process. and you have to talk about whats on your mind and your problems and the whole point is that the cliques are mixing and you have to know each other better. i heard about it and i scoffed and was all like, "yeah, thats gonna stick" *sarcasm*. the trailers made it seem as though there would be some serious bitches to beat down and i, of course, only watch reality TV for the bitches. so i flipped it on (right after Teen Mom, an hour long hot mess for another day) (PS: future boyfriend? BE LIKE TYLER) and got ready to point and mock and roll some serious pupils. then it started.

i dont know...maybe im softening up. but i just thought, this is really fucking different. it doesnt have that fakeness or stupidity of all the other reality shows out there, especially the ones MTV itself has shat out. everything just felt crazy geniune and it was just sad the way these cheerleaders were showing everyone the scars from when they tried to kill themselves and it was awesome to see this popular bitch walk right into the loser section and search out one of the "losers" she met during the Challenge Day shit. i dont know. its basically like the breakfast club.

ill be watching next week.
